If drivers needed any additional incentive to slow down when entering construction zones (and statistics show they do), they have one now after Gov. Mike Parson signed a bill that stiffens the penalty for dangerous driving in those clearly marked areas.
Drivers who hit a worker in a construction zone will have their licenses revoked under the new law.

It doesn't seem to matter if you take away someone's license. Look at how many people stopped with drug charges are also charged with driving on a suspended license. And don't forget all the drunk/impaired who have had licenses taken away and continue to drive, injure and kill.
