Wal-Mart officials: Gun-toting Dimitriy Andreychenko is no longer welcome in our stores

The following statement was released by Wal-Mart in connection with an incident Friday in which Dimitriy Andreychenko, 20, Springfield, entered the Neighborhood Market on Republic Road wearing body armor and carrying a tactical rifle and handgun.

“The behavior of a customer was concerning to those inside our store and out of caution, law enforcement was contacted. They quickly arrived, managed the situation without further incident and no one was injured.

This was a reckless act designed to scare people, disrupt our business and it put our associates and customers at risk.

We applaud the quick actions of our associates to evacuate customers from our store, and we’re thankful no one was injured.

This person is no longer welcome in our stores.

We are working with the authorities however we can and we appreciate their quick response that prevented this situation from escalating further.”

Andreychenko is being held in the Greene County Jail on a $10,000 bond facing a felony charge of making a terroristic threat.

Okay, so is everyone who walks into walmart with a gun not allowed?

Walmart is perfectly fine with concealed carry, and in Joplin open carry of handguns, but the bare facts we know of his entering with a slung rifle, wearing what looked like body armor, and live streaming everything is quite enough for Walmart to declare someone persona non grata.
